Mgr of Customer Tech Support - Machinery Manufacturer
Manufacturer of highly automated assembly line, packaging, and conveying robotics seeks technical guru to oversee customer support help-line service team.
Requires solid knowledge of automated electromechanical systems including programmable controllers.
*** Oversee interface with Customers and provide technical expertise to guide and aid operating and maintenance issue resolution.
*** Interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, mechanical drawings, programs, and other documentation.
*** Remotely instruct customers' employees and company's field technicians in troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
*** Train and develop help-line staff.
***10+ years experienceengineering, servicing, repairing or commissioning some form of industrial automation.
*** Ability to independently work from engineering drawings and maintenance manuals.
*** Great over-the-phone communication skills, patience and strong ability to tolerate low information people.
