Microsoft SCCM Engineer - System Center Configuration Manager - ReqCode 25728BR

Job Description: The client's New Campus East (NCE) Active IT Program was established to provide the infrastructure services required to build out and maintain the NCE facilities. Microsoft SCCM Engineering expertise is needed to support onsite activities.

Duties/Skills:
* Develop an in-depth understanding of the NCE-Active IT baseline capabilities, design and objectives
* Maintaining and administering the health of the campus wide Enterprise Microsoft SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) on multiple classifications. Daily activities include monitoring and responding to server events, ensuring data integrity, gathering server statistics, and performing general maintenance tasks.
* Design and maintain application and operating system packages through task sequences and packages.
* Supporting server platform and Windows operating systems(XP, Windows 7, 2003, 2008) that support applications management maintenance, including version control, application virtualization of enterprise applications, baseline exception software (BES), and mission applications.
* Build/design/implement collections, programs and advertisements within the SCCM console
* Troubleshot SCCM client/server infrastructure and develop automated Windows PowerShell and Active Directory GPO tools to automate fixes of issues.
* Providing evaluation, design, and upgrading of several technologies used to create, manage, update, monitor, and report on Windows desktop configuration with SCCM
* Validating and coordinating all scheduled maintenance on Window and Non-Windows Systems
* Installing, configuring, and applying security patches and upgrades using SCCM
* Writing shell scripts to facilitate automated tasks
* Understanding client's operational and sustainment methodologies and processes
* Performing/supporting integration testing as required
* Working with NCE Active IT IPTs to ensure user facing services are available on time
* Developing and maintaining O&S operating procedures for the Patch update and management in addition to providing on-the-job training to AIT O&S Tier II personnel
* Maintaining up to date drawings of design/configuration located at site
* Participating in ERB, CCB, and Authorized Outage (AO) Board meeting.

Required Skills:
- MUST have active TS/SCI clearance (no exceptions)
- Expertise in SCCM
- Expertise creating packages, task sequences, and advertisements.
- Expertise with application packaging and testing.
- Microsoft SCCM suite as well as Active Directory (Security Groups, OU's, Managing Shared Resources).
- Extensive knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, DFS-R, File and Print Services, and GPO validation, management, and implementation

Desired Skills:
- MCSE Certified
- MDT experience
- SCCM Certification

Required Education (including Major): Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline. 6+ years of applicable experience.
