- Seeks a highly motivated individual to provide support as a Group N Product Center Supplier Quality Engineer in the development and implementation of quality planning and investigation of supplier products to drive root cause and corrective action, Scrap, Rework and Repair (SRR) and customer quality escapes reduction, and product fault investigations.- Assure Quality standards are implemented and adhered to throughout the product lifecycle. - Candidate must be able to perform in a customer-focused work environment, maintaining effectivecommunication with internal/external customers including the DCMA, NAVAIR, AMCOM and FAA.- Respond and assist in FMS Customer Service.- Assist in the development and stand up of new suppliers and work transition initiatives.- Develop and respond to PQDR and customer warranty claim requests.- Successful candidate will effectively contribute to the product center supplier quality engineering teamin support of the Center Corrective Action Board (CCAB), High Visibility (Hi-Vis) escape managementprocess, and data analysis to identify developing trends and maintaining product center key qualitymetrics.- Promote continuous improvement through effective use of ACE tools such as Relentless RootCause Analysis and DIVE to eliminate discrepancies and escapes.- Implement standard work for key processes and support ACE initiatives for the Product Center. Additional responsibilities include support of the Quality Clinic, Material Review Board, Quality Counc


- Position requires coordination with Engineering, Operations, and Procurement
on product qualityissues and effective issue resolution- Candidates for
this position should possess strong product and process knowledge, excellent
technical skills, adept with desktop PC applications and information systems,
and communication andpresentation skillsA self-starter with the ability
to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with minimal supervisionrequired.-
Background in ISO 9001/AS9100.- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written
communication skills- Proficient with Microsoft office tools, including
Microsoft access and project is required- ACE associate or practitioner,
Six sigma experience or LEAN, knowledge of Lean Product- Development (LPD)
is preferred but not required- Thorough understanding of AS9100 and AS9102-
Knowledge of Sikorsky systems, engineering drawings, the Strategic Supplier
Quality System(SSQS), and Sikorsky Aircraft manufacturing requirements-
Knowledge of 3D modeling such as computer aided three-dimensional Interactive
application is a plus- Ability to adapt to changing environments while
meeting customer requirements- Must demonstrate an innate ability to adhere
and communicate effectively to diverse groups, andmultiple levels of leadership.-
Must have problem solving skills at a highly refined level- Strong written,
verbal communication and analytical skills required- A team player that
can work with multiple disciplines in multi-functional organizations-
