The MDS Coordinator is responsible for completing the MDSCare plan and turnaround documents in a timely manner and communicates as needed with appropriate state departments. Conduct orientationsessions on the MDS process to all team members involved in the process. Maintain documentation of all orientationstraining sessions. Serves as a resource person for resident care plan activities. Work with accounts receivable personnel to facilitate payment. Participate in the Quality Improvement Process of the facility. Access continuing education opportunities related to responsibilities. Attend and participate in department meetings and perform other duties as assigned. Florida RN license, BLS, ASN or DIP, and three years clinical and one year MDS Coordinator experience required. BSN and ACLS preferred.
