Missile Systems Engineer

Job Description - Actively participate in trade studies, performance assessments, and conceptual design studies of missile systems. Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) of the related simulation / design tools and associated missile subsystems. Participate in the integration and testing of missile systems.

Duties:
* Engineering analysis, design and performance assessment.
* Modeling and Simulation utilization and development.
* Missile Test and Evaluation activities.
* Document and present analysis findings as appropriate. Interact with sponsors and representatives of other organizations.
Required - B.S. in engineering with 3+ years of missile systems related experience. Knowledge of flight dynamics and one or more missile subsystems such as guidance, navigation, flight control, and propulsion. Experience using missile simulations to create trajectories and evaluate missile performance. Strong computer and programming skills: Proficient with Visual Studio, MATLAB, C. Must be able to interact effectively with individuals of different experience levels and backgrounds including external industry and military personnel. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for a NAC/LAC and access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include US citizenship.

Desired - M.S. in Aerospace engineering with 5+ years of missile systems and missile modeling and simulation related experience. Strong background in flight dynamics and one or more missile subsystems. Experience developing 3-DoF / 6-DoF missile simulations. Design experience for missile and related subsystems. Test and Evaluation experience for ground and or flight testing of missile systems or related subsystems.
