Job Summary:The Marketing Manager performs a variety of marketing functions that support the growth and maintenance of the sales channel. The Manager may create and supervise marketing programs, develop marketing communications and sales tools, monitor program performance, communicate marketing activities to the sales channel, and/or coordinate sponsorships, trade shows, and events. The Manager works closely with sales leaders within the channel as well as other marketing resources within the organization. Responsibilities: Plan and execute marketing programs that combine multiple components (ex. email, direct mail, digital media, sponsorships) working with designers, writers, developers, data managers, social media managers, and analytics resources.Write and edit short- and long-form copy (ex. emails, sales presentations, product collateral, internal sales communications, white papers and abstracts, and landing pages or microsites).Support the development of thought-leadership content to seed the long-range pipeline funnel. Content may include white papers, blog entries, articles, videos, webinar topics.Monitor performance of marketing activities within salesforce.com as well as other marketing tools (ex. sales portal, email, and marketing automation tools).Work closely with the sales team to keep them updated on marketing activities and ensure alignment with sales goals.Track spending and manage allotted budget.
RequirementsEducation:· Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related fieldMinimum Experience:· 4 years of relevant experiencePreferred Experience: 7 years of relevant experience Experience in marketing to businesses Experience working with designers, writers, printers, and/or agencies Keen understanding of eMarketing best practices Working knowledge of Salesforce.com Social media literacy Knowledge, Skill, Abilities: Exceptional writing and editing skills Working knowledge of Salesforce.com Social media literacy Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to multi-task effectively High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products Strategic and creative thinker Strong attention to detail Self-starter – displays initiative and ability to work on projects with little supervision Strong organization skills with ability to organize and prioritize workload AA/EOE M/F/D/V Drug-free Workplace PGi participates in E-Verify.
