It's a big challenge, but it's a big Internet, and there's work to be done. /P P The Mobile Technologies Technical Architect provides technical leadership to the mobile work and supports new business efforts around mobile initiatives. This person analyzes business problems and proposes innovative engineering solutions in close collaboration with our client's technology, strategy, creative and user experience disciplines. A Mobile Technology Lead must have deep hands-on technical skills and in depth understanding of the mobile landscape, including native applications (iOS, Android, WP7), Frameworks (PhoneGap, Appcelerator, Kony) and platforms. /P P Core Duties/Responsibilities: /P UL LI Provides technical support and leadership to all mobile projects within the region /LI LI Delivers points of view on key mobile industry topics. Is seen as expert in the mobile technology area. /LI LI Ensures that the technology group is constantly acquiring new technology skills as it relates to mobile. /LI LI Explores new 3rd party services, products and technologies to determine applicability for mobile projects /LI LI Partners with business development on the development of the technology sections of proposals, coordinating activities of other team members and ensuring proposal addresses client needs with technology and strategic thinking /LI LI Very comfortable delivering presentations to prospective clients /LI LI Accurately scopes new work, ensuring project profitability /LI LI Works with the Client Services' teams and Project Managers during pre-production meetings to translate the client's business requirements to a sound technical architecture/approach. Oversees the execution of the technical strategy once the clients' approval is obtained. /LI LI Mentors and grows the technology team within the central region around mobile technologies. /LI LI Drive efficiency within the mobile technology team to create competitive solutions for clients /LI /UL P Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience: /P UL LI 5+ years of related overall experience. /LI LI Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or comparable degree. /LI LI Most have a proven track record of delivering mobile applications or experiences. /LI LI Hands-on expertise in some mobile platforms. /LI LI Thorough understanding of mobile solutions and platforms delivering sounds technical solutions in that space. /LI LI Ability to provide thought leadership in the mobile technology space. /LI /UL P Leadership: /P UL LI Demonstrated communication skills with customers, management, members of the other practices, and members of the technology practice. /LI LI Excellent team building and leadership skills. /LI LI Highly self-directed. /LI LI Able to multi-task given incomplete and conflicting knowledge, and prioritize multiple projects/initiatives in a deadline-driven environment. /LI LI Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to
