Multi - family Real Estate Development Manager 8/9/2016
JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY As the Development Project Manager you will take accountability for the overall front end work. You will focus on all elements of creating an engineering and environmental feasibility study for submission. Your executive summary will be the catalyst to a successful development project. Your core focus will be on utilities, roads, traffic review, air quality, landscape, value engineering, estimating, design review/management, project scheduling, site logistics and safety/QA management across multiple projects. You will work with external and internal partners including architects and zoning professionals. You will educate and manage subcontracts. You will analyze proformas, obtain site plan approval and permits. Solicit and evaluate contractor bids to prepare for the submission of proposals.
What you'll need to succeed:
As a Degree Qualified Development Management professional you will have experience in Industrial / Commercial construction, or engineering. You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience with for a reputable Contractor or Developer / Builder. You will ideally have experience with $25 million projects. Site inspections will be required 20-25% of the time, some resulting in overnight stays. Some knowledge of AutoCAD and proficiency with MS Suite is required. Knowledge of Google Earth and construction scheduling software is helpful.
