Position Summary
Under the general direction of the NAMR Head of HR Risk and Compliance, the NAMR HR Coordinator - Immigration is responsible for helping to coordinate and provide administrative support for our U.S. immigration function. The NAMR HR Coordinator - Immigration works closely with the U.S. immigration and compliance team, local office HR teams, foreign nationals and employees in need of immigration services and external US immigration legal counsel.

Job Responsibilities

* Facilitate all temporary and permanent U.S. immigration matters

* Serve as immigration liason to U.S. offices for new hires and transfers and to non-U.S. offices for cross-office staffing

* Work directly with BCG employees and outside immigration counsel to advise on best strategies in all immigration processes on case-by-case basis

* Monitor progress and status for all U.S. immigration cases

* Facilitate the recruitment process for U.S. permanent resident applications

* Provide administrative support as needed for all immigration matters, including maintaining immigration files in accordance with audit and compliance standards, and creating and maintaining public access files

* Engage with individuals responsible for HR information systems, as well as U.S. Payroll processes, to ensure the appropriate immigration information is tracked

* Develop and maintain relationship with immigration law firm

* Actively monitor BCG's response to mandates resulting from frequently changing governmental immigration policies and deadlines

* Interpret and help to enforce BCG immigration policies and guidelines to maintain consistency

* Ensure legal compliance for BCG and foreign national employees

* Update and maintain immigration database, spreadsheets and employee files to track immigration processes for foreign national employees

* Draft letters (verification, invitation, etc.)

* Support I-9 compliance and reverification process


* Perform other duties as assigned or required

Basic Job Requirements

* Bachelors degree required

* 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a professional services setting

* Computer proficiency: Windows Office applications (Microsoft Word, Excel; PowerPoint; database familiarity)

* This role requires limited travel within the US
