BR BR STRONG U .NET Software Engineer /U /STRONG BR BR SUMMARY: BR The Software Engineer will work as part of a team to develop web based applications for both internal and external customers. Designs, develops, tests, and implements computer software systems. BR BR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: BR Design, develops, and implements software consistent with the development process and contemporary software techniques. BR Performs debugging and unit testing of software products. BR Analyzes and investigates major software engineering tasks. BR Defines design specifications and parameters. BR Coordinates with hardware engineers to resolve hardware/software compatibility and interface considerations. BR Interfaces with other departments to participate in specification, design, code, and test reviews. BR Provides documentation of software products. BR Follows and contributes to improvement of the software development process. BR Provides timely production support and problem resolution. BR Interfaces with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications; provides maintenance information. BR Produces timely status reports and projections. BR Develops and tracks objectives and schedules. BR Prioritizes and manages multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions. BR Participates in project planning and management. BR Performs other duties as assigned by manager. /P P QUALIFICATIONS: BR Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in related field or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. BR Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a programmer analyst and be comfortable jumping into new areas. BR Programming experience in the following: C##, .NET, SQL, and HTML BR Ability to write thorough, but concise, technical specifications. BR Ability to independently develop software from ground up and end-to-end. BR Ability to unit-test own code, and review the code of other programmers and provide insightful recommendations. BR Provide guidance to other programmers and lend assistance to Design and QA as needed. BR Commitment to excellence and high standards. BR Excellent written and oral communication skills. BR Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. BR Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
