The company has about 25 employees, and their clients are not-for-profit’s (NFP), high net worth individuals and their businesses, and a few big corporations. br br The Audit Manager will lead engagements supported by a Partner and oversee a number of Staff and Senior Auditors. This CPA firm continues to grow its practice and the candidate selected will be groomed to be partner in less than 10 years. br br B *Will consider out of state candidates* /B br br B Essential Duties /B br ul
li Client Service & Engagement Management /li ul
li Manage a portfolio of clients and engagements /li li Develop the engagement work plan, budget, and assign resources/time /li li Supervises audit Staff and Seniors on engagements /li li Prepares billings and assists in collections /li li Reviewing and preparing accurate financial statements, disclosures, and management letter /li li Performing technical accounting research /li li Producing and presenting reports to client board and committee meetings /li /ul
li Business Development /li ul
li Develop and strengthen long term relationships with clients /li li Assesses client needs for additional services /li li Assist with training clients on new accounting standards /li li Participate in networking activities and other community organizations /li /ul
B Qualifications /B br ul
li Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Accounting. /li li Active CPA license /li li 8+ years prior experience in public accounting focusing on Not for Profit clients. /li li Knowledge of ERISA a huge plus /li li Significant experience in the industry or technical expertise in financial reporting and GAAP /li li Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills /li li Excellent interpersonal skills and strong work ethic. /li li Ability to research complex accounting and auditing issues. /li li Excellent communication and computer skills. /li li Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various local client sites. /li /ul
