ECS Federal, LLC (ECS) is seeking a NMCI Technical Support Specialist to work in our Patuxent River, MD office.

PLEASE NOTE: This position is contingent upon funding.


Job Description:

Position is an embedded NMCI POC, providing detailed NMCI support to Direct Funded Contractors (DFCs).

Duties include:
Creation and maintenance of NMCI profiles for new DFC Customers.
Provide desk-side support including troubleshooting and resolving unclassified and classified hardware and software issues to all users who support the program. Including but not limited to iOS/Android support and printer support.
Knowledge operating VTC systems, dialing into audio/video conferences.
Knowledge of maintaining Share Drive/SharePoint permissions.
Knowledge of SharePoint 2013, creating sub-sites/document libraries
Maintain effective communication with other NMCI POCs, especially as employees move throughout the organization.
Be familiar with NMCI/NGEN.
Support NMCI customer requirements.
The employee will report changes or emerging requirements (i.e. external connectivity, print, kiosk, etc.) to the NAVAIR CTR Team.
Create and maintain customer relations with customer base.
Create and maintain employee and seat order data within NET, including creating profiles for new employees, ordering new seats, transferring assets, and terminating seats as required.
Learn the physical infrastructure of networking/IT in order to understand limitations and help in identifying solutions to problems/issues/requests.
Maintain working knowledge of Move, Add, Change (MAC) policies and procedures to ensure accurate input and submission of requests. Using the NMCI contract line items and the FY Order Calendar, submit MAC s (day-to-day, large-scale moves, claimancy transfers), order mods, and termination of services as requested.
Provide advice and guidance to customers to include recommending solutions to user s requests, and training of hardware/software.
Incumbent will respond to data calls as required and provide status updates.
Attend NMCI POC meetings and training sessions to keep up-to-date on the requirements for NMCI ordering.


Required Skills:

* High School diploma
* Knowledge of the NMCI Enterprise Tool (NET) and NMCI procedures
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Some work may require walking and standing in conjunction with local travel and to attend meetings and conferences away from the work site.
* Some employees may be required to lift items up to 25 pounds, and/or carry light items, such as papers, books, or small parts, or drive a motor vehicle. The work does not require any special physical effort.


Desired Skills:

* Bachelors Degree in a relevant major (IT, CS, CSE, etc) or a high-school graduate with a minimum of six years of relevant experience
* Candidates with less, but very directly relevant, experience will be considered
* Security+ Certification
* COMSEC Training
* Active Security Clearance
