We are currently seeking qualified Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our team in Rochester, MN. Earn a minimum salary of $96,000 with Mayo Clinic, and we also help with relocation expenses.

Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) on this team work collaboratively with consultants, fellows, nursing, and other staff to provide coverage managing the inpatient care of adult and pediatric patients throughout their stay.

Job Responsibilities

-Provide comprehensive assessment, ordering, conducting and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescription of pharmacologic agents and treatments
-Will primarily work in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Progressive Care Unit, or Cardiology
-Candidates working in ICU or Progressive Care will be focused on acute surgical and medical readmissions after heart transplantation and Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) implantation
-Management of chronic and acute medical conditions
-Prescribing medications and treatments
-Patient and family education about disease process, post hospital follow up
-Allows for valued off time for personal pursuits, development, and work/life balance

Job Requirements

-Licensed Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
-If NP interested in CV Surgery, FNP required (or NP with Pediatric certification)
-Active CPR card
-Experience preferred in ICU, respiratory therapy, surgical technology, cardiology, or related field with high acuity
