BR BR B Job Responsibilities /B CONTINGENT UPON AWARD OF CONTRACT br br This position requires an in depth knowledge/experience with NSWC Corona and the Range System (RS) Department's mission including engineering, planning, acquisition, integration, installation, test, operation, configuration control, and maintenance support for fixed and portable land-based, airborne and shipboard telecommunications, scoring and other range instrumentations systems; as well as experience interpreting and administering DoD Directives; experience must cover financial management of Navy/DoD program, personnel relations, supervision, and direction of technical programs, providing overall management, direction, problem definition, analysis and formulation of design, test, and evaluation of engineering approaches for complex systems. br br Candidate must possess extensive experience managing a large executing workforce responsible for performing multiple Program, Financial and Administrative functional areas of support in a variety of technically challenging projects, develop project staffing plans, and work breakdown structures. BR BR B Experience/Education /B EXPERIENCE: br The position requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience and background gained as a result of working with the variety of processes and elements associated with the Program Management and Financial Management of supporting acquisition of industry services for Naval ship systems and equipment. Must have the ability to schedule, budget, and oversee the quality of all tasking elements. Ability to research and collect data, analyze problems and recommend solutions. Experience in assembling and preparing documentation and reports to support and reflect progress on requirements, goals, objectives, action items, upcoming events, issues and concerns. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills including ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, and proficiency in writing reports and instructions. Be able to brief senior leaders on assignments, status issues, and potential solutions. The experience base shall reflect knowledge and familiarity with Program Management and Financial Management (as it relates to services and applications supporting various ship systems and related projects. Candidate for Program Manager will have the responsibility of reviewing and approving the work performed by program staff, as well as maintaining liaison with Government and other contracting personnel. br br EDUCATION: br This position requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree from an accredited university with a major in Business Administration, Operations Management or a quantitative technical field, such as Engineering, Mathematics. PMP Certification is desired. br
