JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is responsible for rendering professional nursing care to patients in a busy, fast paced cardiac catheterization lab. This position is responsible for demonstrating clinical expertise, leadership, education and research skills. In conjunction with the Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager is responsiable for management of activities related to scheduling, budgeting, patient turnover, admissions and allocation of resources for his/her unit. The Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible to assist with the day to day operation of the cath lab. The ANM will provide supervision to the staff and will be a resource to the staff on a daily basis. He or she needs to be competent to circulate, administer moderate sedation and monitor hemodynamics during cardiac cath and PCI procedures. The ANM must be available for on call for STEMI in cases of staff emergencies. He/she will assume the responsibilites of the Nurse Manager in his or her absence.
* NJ RN license required.
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
* BLS and ACLS certification required.
* Minimum of 2 years critical care RN experience required.
* Recent Cardiac Catheterization Lab RN experience required.
* Charge Nurse esperience in the Cath Lab required.
* Management experience preferred.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are required.
