JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Experienced Nurse Practitioner needed to join a team of Nurse Practitioners and Attending Cardiologists to provide care for an acute cardiac inpatient population. This Nurse Practitioner will initiate and facilitate a comprehensive plan of care for patients undergoing a variety of coronary and peripheral interventional procedures. The NP must be a highly motivated individual who will work in a collaborative manner with physicians and other clinicians.This position could be 30 or 36 hours day/evening rotation required.
Master's degree in Nursing and certification as Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Adult Nurse Practitioner required. Massachusetts nursing license required. Current Federal & Massachusetts licensures to dispense Controlled Substances required.
The ideal candidate would have 3-5 years experience in the Advanced Practice role particularly in the full-service cardiology arena. Critical care experience and/or greater than 5 years clinical nursing experience, specifically with medical cardiology patients is required.
