AREA OF EXPERTISE:
This role requires the candidate to be able to identify product line specific selling opportunities, work with centralized purchasing functions, and develop key strategic relationships with Top 50 U.S. home builders.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generate revenue and profit via the sale of Carrier Corporation branded products to Top 50 U.S. home builders.
- Develop joint growth strategies with manager of Strategic Sales and key Distributors to increase residential new home construction customer base and share of segment.
- Develop and execute sales proposals, contracts, and supporting promotional opportunities.
- Monitor industry and home building trends, market shifts, and competitive offering/approach.
- Build consultative relationship with managed accounts.
- Develop sell-up tactics for specific, assigned builder accounts.
- Maintain a working knowledge of Carrier Corporation residential product line.

LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY:

- Design and execution of sales and promotional strategies, policies, and programs for company products.
- Implement short and longer term sales opportunities.
- Examination of industry marketing and sales statistics to devise sales strategies.

EDUCATION:
The ideal candidate will possess a 4 year BS/BA degree w/6+ years of relevant professional experience or MBA degree w/4+ years of relevant professional experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years HVAC industry experience in professional sales or marketing positions of increasing responsibility.

- Thorough understanding of U.S. home building industry including prior experience in Top 50 builder segment.

- Strong understanding of marketplace dynamics including industry trends and assessment of key competitors' programs.

- Strong experience through multiple sales and distribution channels.

- Proven capacity to communicate professionally in written and verbal format across a wide audience.

- Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to pull data from assorted sources and synthesis in both graphic and verbal format, so that it is easily understood by the target audience.

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities.
