National Sales Leadership - Division Sales Manager & Distribution Channel Manager
Our client is a $2B technical MRO supplier offering an impressive portfolio of specialty lubricants that are used in food processing and packaging, plus a range of other niche applications that include wind, mining, energy, open gear, electronics, automotive glass, and forging. Recognized as a market leader with cutting edge proprietary products and world class technical service, this exciting company is successfully driving aggressive growth strategies across North America and achieving impressive results! These two newly created positions will report to the Division VP/General Manager, working together as key members of the leadership team to expand market penetration and increase sales revenues with specific areas of focus:
DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL MANAGER - Build, refine and manage the distributionnetwork. Strengthen distributor relationships, provide product training, and develop business plans to leverage new market opportunities.
SALES MANAGER - Lead a team of 6-8 technical sales representatives with responsibilities that focus on sales training, territory planning, and strategic account management to increase direct customer sales.
The corporate HQ is near Chicago IL, but these positions have the flexibility to be based from a HOME OFFICE IN ANY MAJOR CITY IN THE USA with about 50% travel. We are looking for high performers with outstanding communications skills, strong commercial drive, and the desire to make a significant, long term impact. 10+ years of related sales leadership experience with lubricants, oils, greases, technical MRO supplies, coatings, adhesives, packaging materials or related industrial products and/or knowledge of the food industry is desired. BS/BA required. Compensation range of $120-$150K+ will include salary, bonus and auto, plus outstanding benefits.
