Our client, a manufacturer of marking and traceability systems, is seeking to fill a National Sales Manager, to become part of their team that has continuously evolved their technology in order to create solutions that help leading manufacturers increase efficiency, reduce manufacturing costs, and increase quality in their factories.
The Sales manager will drive and manage their strategic growth initiatives. They are seeking candidates who have a demonstrated track record of success in high-tech business growth through strong sales management and leadership. This job requires a focus on implementing effective internal and external sales systems that achieve results. A leadership style that is firm and goal oriented, and yet motivates, trains, and engages cross-functional teams in an enthusiastic way is important.
Develop and drive sales plans and initiatives that are aligned with the company's overall strategic plan and goals.
Manage sales channel pipeline by directing daily sales activities and tracking opportunities per defined sales process.
Ensure that the team consistently meets sales performance metrics and revenue goals.
Prepare forecasting reports, KPI dashboards and other statistics to management team in sales analysis and strategy development.
Continue to build and mentor sales team by identifying key roles, optimizing processes and implementing tools.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in a business related or technical field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of ten plus years of experience in sales management in the automation industry. Some product sectors of interest are robotics, PLC'S, and vision systems. Important also to have a successful sales background selling into the automotive and medical device industries and experience in a $20M to $30M sales environment. Market and industry experience is a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products, experience with Salesforce.com or CRM a plus.
