This is a permanent opportunity with a cool startup in San Francisco, CA** br .Net Technical Lead has multiple responsibilities including technical project management, architecture and technical design development, providing best practice points of view within their area of expertise and also being the authority for IT development methods and processes. Tech Lead also works closely with a variety of stakeholders -- including product managers, software developers, quality assurance engineers and network operations engineers -- to assess scope and balance product requirements while meeting quality standards. br This hands-on Tech Lead needs to work alongside business stakeholders, product owners, and developers to help build and manage highly interactive, dynamic and data driven online applications. br Your time will be spent doing 50% project management and 50% hands on software architecture and development. You must have good experience leading teams (in-house and outsourced), looking at requirements and putting together estimates, setting priorities, and delivering on schedule. br   br Responsibilities / Job Duties: In this role the primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to): br   br • Experience in all phases of software development life-cycle (specification, design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance) br • Development of highly available, reliable, and scalable server software applications br • Development of API’s/Web-services br • Provide leadership and technical direction for 7+ team of developers in an Agile-team environment (Scrum) br • Evaluate vendor/3rdparty products br • Work with business stakeholders to provide technical solutions that deliver to business needs br • Establish and manage high, mid and low-level project plans br • Brainstorm, design and develop and enterprise software product br • Design and implement re-usable software components br • Ensure the product is highly configurable and extensible br • Conduct design and code reviews to ensure architectural alignment and quality br • Provide development oversight, metrics tracking, and issue resolution br • Confirm program operation by conducting tests, modifying program sequence and/or codes br • Accountable for unit and integration testing br • Accountable for resolution of bugs (post deployment, ongoing) br • Identify and escalate potential concerns related to project initiatives and recommend viable solutions br • Stay current with technology and industry best practices to ensure that skill set/knowledge base remains broad and current br • Lead design, estimation, planning and implementation phases of a project br • Other duties as assigned br   br Desired Skills and Experience br • Has the ability to gain consensus among technical and non-technical stakeholders br • Helps prioritize work, and ensure timely delivery of quality products br • Have at least 2 years leading a software development team, and at least 5+ years of experience building data-driven applications that leverage the .NET framework, C# or related (Java, C, C++) br • Expert level understanding of .NET or related framework and up-to-date knowledge and experience with the latest versions br • Has the ability to read and write code that le
