Working in an international team environment, the Network Analyst is responsible for being the first escalation point for Velocity products from Product Support Engineering and other 3rd Level Team Members. The Network Analyst provides prompt, professional and courteous interaction with all employees. This position will report directly to the Velocity Program Manager.
Role & Responsibilities
Perform Velocity process-oriented tasks like solving incidents, requests, changes or problems in compliance with companywide policies
Document customer cases, changes and problem solving steps in the AI and Velocity GRID environments
Work with developers to test and confirm Velocity meets company requirements for SW field installers (Globally)
Contribute to smaller projects like setting up demos, WebEx s installer training
Analyze infrastructure related problems on Client; Server and Network Systems using own skills, the solutions knowledge base, and other resources available.
Have a soft spot for network infrastructure based on Citrix and Full-Scale technologies
Meet quarterly goals and service levels
Travel to International subsidiaries to perform onsite comfort visits
Submit Varian acceptance certificate to FOAs
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Education and Experience Required
Profound Knowledge in Client troubleshooting with Eclipse, Citrix and Velocity. 1-3 Years plus.
Bachelor s degree in Management Information Systems or like experience
Demonstrate experience isolating and resolving networking issues.
Demonstrate experience with Ethernet, host applications, and remote control tools
Demonstrate ability to integrate work across relevant areas, develop the business and services to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks and safety appropriately, develop and execute business plans, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
Demonstrate effective resource and project planning, decision making, results delivery, team building, and the ability to stay current with relevant technology and innovation.
Demonstrate strong ethics, influence and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills, communication, and the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.
Must be able to work occasionally outside of normal shifts (8am to 5pm) with periodic travel.
Highly motivated self-starter.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
