NCI: As the Network Engineer for the Army and Intelligence Sector, in our Annapolis Junction office, your skills, knowledge and experience will allow you to excel while working with a remarkable group of dedicated and talented resources performing in a fast-paced environment implementing start-of-the-art technologies in the Intelligence Community.

Highlights of Responsibilities
* Accountable for the Solaris and LINUX transition to exclude the database
* Administer NetBackup and restorations
* Responsible for burning security logs to CD on a bi-weekly basis
* Update anti-virus software for SOLARIS & LINUX
* Attendance at Team Leads and CCB meetings
* Document and update IAVA patches/fixes
* Administer patching of SOLARIS systems on a quarterly basis
* Responsible for DNS for all of the HP team
* Maintain the hosts file for the team
* Maintain hardware for all workstations and servers
* Administer software maintenance for all workstation and servers.

Responsibilities
* Ten (10) years in the planning, design, development, implementation and technical support of multi-platform, multi-system networks to encompass diagnosing network performance shortcomings and designing and implementing performance improvements
* Five (5) years designing and implementing networks utilizing the following network operating systems: Windows NT/2000/XP, UNIX, and LINUX
* Significant experience providing and implementing network infrastructures
* Experience developing, operating, and managing networks required to operate in a secure PKI, IPSEC, or VPN enabled environments
