Network Engineer II - Corporate

Robert Half International is seeking a Network Engineer II to support the data center network environment. This position is the escalation point for Level I engineers. Other responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: support level III engineers; troubleshoot and repair all corporate networks; plan, design and implement network systems including routers, switches, Wireless systems, and content switching; and participate in 24 x 7 on-call rotation for Network Operations Support group. The Network Engineer II will create new or update existing Network Engineering Policy and Procedure documentation as required by job duties and is responsible for Field office design and data center support such as assigning new networks for Data Center and Identifying correct devices for Field projects.

Requirements:
BS degree or equivalent work experience required
-6+ years IT experience with CCNP or 4+ years Networking experience
-In depth Knowledge of MPLS, Frame Relay, T1, DS3
-Solid understanding of EIGRP and BGP.
-Extensive Knowledge of Spanning Tree, VLAN?s, VTP, Trunking protocols, and Load Balancing Devices such as F5 required.
-Proficient at troubleshooting L2/L3 issues
-Extensive experience with Cisco routers, switches. Knowledge of Juniper routing and switching experience would be a plus.
-Good understanding of Wireless systems.
-Experience with Sniffer and other advanced troubleshooting tools.
-Certification in one or more of the following technologies is preferred: Cisco CCNA, Cisco CCNP, and/ or Cisco VoIP
