Position: NETWORK MANAGER
Location: TAMPA FL
Duration: FULL TIME
GC AND US CITIZEN ONLY
THE NETWORK MANAGER IS POSITION IS A HANDS-ON LEADERSHIP ROLE THAT REQUIRES EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE WITH AND KNOWLEDGE OF VOICE/DATA/VIDEO NETWORK IMPLEMENTATION, MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT. THE NETWORK MANAGER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PLANNING AND DESIGNING OF THE NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE AND ENTERPRISE NETWORK SOLUTIONS. THIS POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR TROUBLESHOOTING, INSTALLING, IMPLEMENTING AND ADMINISTERING NETWORK SYSTEMS AND PROVIDING MULTI TIER SUPPORT
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for all network, VoIP, video, and data traffic
Accountable for short and long-term planning to meet network requirements of the enterprise
Liaise with stakeholders internal and external to IT to define success criteria
Plans, designs, installs, implements network systems and monitors for continuous improvement
Provides support for network connectivity or related network issues for the user community
Trouble-shoots, diagnoses and resolves network problems. Identify root cause of the problems and implement preventative actions
Analyzes network activity and network problems to discover and prevent systematic errors. Recommends network design changes/enhancements for improved systems availability and performance
Researches, analyzes and recommends the implementation of software or hardware changes to rectify any network deficiencies or to enhance network performance
Ensures planned testing activities are performed and technical criteria are met
Develop and maintain measurable network health and performance metrics; Assess network performance to ensure that it meets the present and future needs of the business. Provides network planning recommendations to senior management
Analyzes facilities bandwidth requirements and system interdependencies. Develops capacity planning models
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, technology standards and security requirements
Create new, modify and adhere to existing policies and procedures such as change control, project management, etc.
Coach and mentor for global team members, including indirect/dotted-line reporting staff to maximize overall team effectiveness
Liaise with the IT Security and Information Security teams and participate in the development of security roadmaps
Partner with IT Architecture team on solution analysis, business requirements, cost benefit analysis, risk assessment and business impact analysis
Accountable for the creation, iterations and annual updates of the Network strategic plans and multi-year roadmaps
RELEVANT YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Required: minimum 12 years IT experience and minimum 5 years of IT leadership and staff management experience in areas of responsibility and in similar roles (broad based, senior level) within a comparably sized or larger company
Relevant experience within a regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace, biotech or automotive) or experience in a manufacturing organization is strongly preferred
Proven ability to partner with the business to set and execute strategic direction for IT network systems
Experience in assessing, negotiating, implementing and on-going management of managed services, cloud services, IAAS, SAAS
Demonstrated success in leading large, complex projects within budget and meeting deadlines
Experience in ITIL processes and framework preferred
Exposure working in a global delivery model leveraging offshore locations
MUST HAVE TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
* Certifications in Network & Security (i.e. Cisco certifications - CCNP Data Center, CCNP Security, CCNP Voice, CCIE)
* Windows, Linux, Solaris , DNS, Proxy knowledge
. Experience in SOX, PCI, HIPAA, ISO audit and compliance
MUST HAVE BUSINESS QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated leadership and personnel management skills.
* Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
* Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
*Perform Capacity Management, Trending and forecasting for key Network components
* Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required.
* Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound
decisions in emergency situations.

* Strong customer service orientation.
* Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
