The Neurodiagnostic technician shall have a thorough knowledge and proficiency in the skill of neurodiagnostic practice and procedures. The technician is responsible for the preparation of the patient, the conduct of EEG examinations, and collection of information pertinent to the interpretation of the tests. The technician develops expertise in other electrophysiologic studies to perform them with minimal supervision. The employee will assist in achieving and maintaining a high quality of diagnostic health care that is beneficial to the physicians and patients.

Ages of Patients Served-The patient population of Norton Audubon Hospital ranges from neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. The EEG technician must provide services to all patients, families, and physicians serving this population.

* Completion of any outside neurodiagnostic traininig program
* Current Basic Life Support Certification
* 1-2 years experience performing various neurodiagnostic procedures in a hospital or physician's office
