JOB DESCRIPTION

APPLY
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

* Performs New Model analysis work requiring a high level of specific knowledge of various production processes and packaging development (Primarily Returnable Containers & Dunnage)
* Ability to understand Production Plan & determine returnable container Qty. requirements
* Develop, gain approval, and execute Packaging strategies for the ATV/MUV products
* Work closely with suppliers, HSC packaging committee, and CC from development through mass Production to establish all Packaging
* Work closely with supplier to negotiate and finalize all New Model packaging costs
* Support supplier problem investigations, production support, and supplier change point approvals for issues that occur during new model development and into mass production
* Daily interaction and communication with various departments and affiliates
* NAP's Packaging cost Initial Approver
* Work with suppliers to assure completion and accuracy of required (PIF's)
* Work Closely with Mass production Packaging to correlate on future order requirements considering On Hand inventory
* Effectively manage projects and supplier relationships

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Minimum two years Purchasing, Quality Control, Business or Engineering experience or equivalent
* Minimum two years with packaging development
* Ability to read Bill of Materials
* Ability to read blueprints & proficient in math including metric conversions
* Analytical problem solving trouble shooting skills
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities, good organizational skills - 5S, prioritization, & daily planning
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes (Primarily Excel)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Able to work in team environment
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision
* Able to effectively manage projects and demonstrate good multi-tasking skills
* Ability to travel, possibly for extended periods & on short notice. Willing to work overtime & weekends as necessary
