The Westin Nashville is searching for a Night Manager to join the pre-opening team. This new build property will feature 453 well-appointed guest rooms and suites, 20,000 square feet of flexible meeting and function space, three unique food and beverage outlet offerings (including a signature restaurant and rooftop lounge) and a luxury spa and fitness center. The Westin Nashville is located directly across from the Music City Center, within the heart of Nashvilles lively entertainment and business districts. Within close walking distance, guests will be able to visit Ryman Auditorium, Bridgestone Arena, many corporate offices and countless restaurants, bars, shops and live music venues. The Night Manager will oversee the hotel in the evening hours to ensure profitability, quality standards and complete guest satisfaction. They will also direct the implementation of safety and security programs for the purpose of providing protection and sense of well-being to all guests and associates. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Be an expert at all front desk procedures and implement all hotel policies and procedures (check-in, check-out, answer phones, respond to guest inquiries, utilize hotel computer systems, processing payments, maintain a cash bank, and so much more!) Embrace and deliver service that is on brand Ensure all Front Office quality standards are complied with and that policies and procedures are consistently applied. Assist in training new staff members, coach them and monitor their performance. Full awareness of current daily status of hotel Handle any complaint with tact and diplomacy at all times.Communication and recording of complaints. Investigate all guest and associate accidents and report the circumstances to management. To patrol in the hotel to ensure everything is in good order and condition. To be fully aware of hotels emergency procedures with regard to safety of guest and associates.
