ISJ Regional Medical Center-Mayo Health System is seeking an Non-invasive Cardiologist that is a board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease to join its practice. The cardiologist would be employed as a member of the Mayo Clinic Rochester staff and would be located in one of our affiliated regional practices. Candidates should have demonstrated proficiency in non-invasive cardiology. The regional cardiologist will maintain significant autonomy with regard to the local practice, but will have full access to consultative, procedural, and surgical services provided by our Mayo Rochester staff. Mayos large outpatient clinical base, in conjunction with its strong institutional educational commitment, provides excellent opportunities for clinical investigations.
Duties: Provide patient care in a clinic and hospital setting. Diagnose and treat diseases of the heart. Examine patient for symptoms of organic or congenital disorders. Prescribe medications and treatments. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Determine hospital admissions and discharges. Discuss patient and management of care with other physicians as needed.
Requirements: M.D. or foreign degree equivalent. Must be eligible for Minnesota Medical License and Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
