The Northeast Inside District Sales Manager assists the Northeast District and Regional Sales Managers in securing business in the Northeast Region. This position will serve as a liaison between the Northeast District Sales Managers, the Dealer and Kenworth Division. This position will be based out of Kirkland, WA.
Northeast Inside District Sales Manager responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
Work with dealer personnel and Kenworth Region Sales team to provide assistance in closing sales, financing and leasing.
Act as liaison between dealerships and various Kenworth departments including Engineering, Accounting and Sales Administration.
Assist with sales support for Northeast Region:
Green dollar management (inventory assistance programs)
Dealer Truck Purchase order discrepancy resolution
Program Pricing management
Review, manage and negotiate incoming CARS, manage and route for approval as necessary, resolve dealer net discrepancies when appropriate, manage retail assistance CARS.
Monitor incoming OARs requiring follow up or appeal.
Track, monitor and provide additional information to facilitate CRC requests.
Provide support with forecasting, including updates to Dealer Inventory report.
Field dealer questions as they relate to program assistance, new product information, or status of orders.
4-Year Degree required, preferably in Marketing, Engineering or Business Administration.
Two+ years wholesale/retail Class 7 and 8 heavy duty truck or parts sales experience, or relevant experience in related heavy equipment industries.
Strong PC skills.
Candidate willing to relocate or move into a field sales related role preferred.
