Job Description
Overview: As a Regional Director of Macys By Appointment (MBA), you will drive Stores Own Sales through entrepreneurial techniques to generate new business and by supervising store MBA Executives to achieve results. Responsibilities include managing the entire MBA program within a Region.Key Accountabilities: Sales
Drive and exceed sales goals by executing Stores Own Sales
Role model MAGIC Selling; teach MBA Executive team to use product training as an element of selling; lead the push toward selling through coaching and recognition
Achieve assigned regional corporate sales plan through business sourcing, community interaction, and direct customer interaction and interface
Structure and direct fulfillment incentives: rewards and gift programs, including Electronic Gift Cards
Lead MBA Executive team to annually expand individual client list, and increase spend of existing client base through management of sales, driving events, and corporate business opportunities
Customer
Train and develop the store MBA executive on clientele selling, servicing their fashion and gift giving needs
Demonstrate outstanding customer service and promote Macys service feedback programs
Role Model selling and service skills to influence positive performance among others
Manage the efficient, timely, execution of all corporate sales orders
People
Recruit, select and hire service-minded MBA Executives, ensure existing bench through on-going talent analysis
Create a positive, inclusive work environment resulting in retention of the best people and turnover reduction
Address MBA Executive concerns in a reasonable and fair manner consistent with the values expected by the Company
Monitor and address performance issues on a timely basis; in partnership with Central MBA office administer Responsibility Based Performance
Utilize review process as a tool for MBA Executive talent development, promotion and advancement
Ensure that all procedures, policies and shortage programs are understood and executed by MBA Executives
Cross communicate MBA strategies and execution plans with Regional, District, and Store teams; ensure the team focus is on
driving MBA event planning and execution to further increase loyalty and MBA utilization
Stores Representative for all Corporate MBA Initiatives; sharing opportunities and successes at district, regional and divisional level
Skills Summary:
A minimum of 5 years in retail or other clientele selling environment; results and service oriented
Demonstrate ability to operate autonomously - driving a regional business and increasing sales growth
Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Keen sense of fashion, ability to coordinate items and train others to suggestive sell
Experience or familiarity with a variety of lifestyles and business segments, credibility to interact with broad client base
Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office, internet, and mobile
