JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Details:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs clinical nuclear medicine procedures on patients including general studies, cardiac studies, SPECT studies and computer interactions associated with these studies.
Education: Associates Degree in Nuclear Medicine from an AMA-approved school of Diagnostic Radiologic Technology resulting in a CNMT with evidence of continuing education in the Science of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
Experience: One year of experience in an accredited hospital.
License/Certification: State of Ca certification in Nuclear Medicine plus Venipuncture, Basic Life Support
Prefer certification in all scopes defined in Title 17, Section 30533
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Excellent interpersonal skills. Effective verbal and written skills. CQI Team experience. Basic proficiency with computer systems.
Sit: Up to 8 hours/day
Stand/Walk: Up to 6 hours
Bend/Stoop: Up to 6 hours
Reach: Up to 6 hours
Rep Use of UE/Grasp: Up to 8 hrs
Lift/Push/Pull: 25lbs, over 25# with assistance or equipment
