Assists with resident activities of daily living tasks in the provision of supportive or restorative resident care and other non-nursing duties, under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Provides a therapeutic environment that maintains each resident s highest level of well-being through creative interventions. Supports, facilitates, and participates in the elder-focused social model of care. Ages served are adult to geriatric. QUALIFICATIONS 1. Certified Nurse Aide, verification of certification from the State of Iowa. 2. Must pass CRT test with a score between 127-150 (light). 3. Must be BLS certified within 3 months of hire. 3. Must possess good communication, inter-personal, and observation skills. 4. Must be flexible and creative in initiating and conducting activities. 5. Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills in a Windows environment. 6. Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment. 7. Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
