The Registered Nurse functioning within the Patient Centered Care Model will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for a group of patients, collaborate with health care professionals, coordinate ancillary staff and demonstrate professional growth and development. Able to provide appropriate care for patients served according to the units scope of practice.


You will have the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative unit where the whole hospital works together to achieve high through put levels.
This unit is team oriented with a focus on excellent customer service and exceeding expectations with patient care.
Greenwich Hospital further rewards RN s for achieving educational status of their BSN/MSN degree with a stipend, which is distributed throughout the course of a year.
Our unit offers 8 Delivery, 3 Fetal, 2 c-section, 1 recovery and Level III NICU. We have a diverse unit encompassing perinatology, ante partum, and neonatology. Our postpartum visit makes us superb.
With our lower nurse to patient ratio, teaching is paramount with our patients.

EDUCATION: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, AD, BSN). BSN preferred. CT licensed or CT license eligible required.

EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of experience in L&D required with NRP, CPR. EFM certification preferred. Electronic Nursing documentation skills and the ability to multi-task. Prior experience required: circulate and scrub for vaginal and c-sections.
HOURS: Night shift Full-time w/ Benefits 12 Hour AM-PM
