St. Elizabeth s Hospital is searching for someone special; a leader of nurses who passionately believes in mission, values, and quality of care. We are seeking a leader to help us span the gap between where we are and where we want to be by leading our team of patient care professionals in handling our growing patient population and ultimately taking us to the next level.
Just 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis, MO, St. Elizabeth s Hospital is a 338-bed licensed facility and has been a fixture in the heart of downtown Belleville, Illinois since 1875. We operate a 16 room surgery suite that has achieved 100% compliance with SCIP measures. St. Elizabeth s has an average of 425 cases per month offering services in areas such as ENT, gynecology, orthopedics, neurology, vascular, CVOR, plastics and general surgery. To better serve our patient population, we have recently purchased new endoscopic high-definition video equipment and provide BrainLab navigation for our neurosurgeons.
Maintaining quality and increasing patient satisfaction is essential. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of clinical experience; a bachelors degree in nursing is highly preferred. This position requires a demonstrated record of accomplishment in communicating a clear vision for nursing and in successfully executing strategic plans.

Minimum Qualifications: Holds valid Illinois license as a registered professional nurse (or eligible by endorsement). Must have a minimum of 3 years of surgical management experience. Baccalaureate degree in nursing or related field and CNOR certification preferred.
Job Purpose: Provides front-line management for and leadership for a OR, PACU and SPD, with 24-hour accountability for the provision of services by the staff of these units. Full Time 80 hrs per pay Day Shift Bachelors degree is preferred
