The Nurse Manager is responsible for assisting the Patient Care Director in ensuring the optimal delivery of care and service to patients and families in their designated areas. Responsibilities include interviewing and selecting, staff scheduling, performance appraisals, and clinical support to staff. The manager is responsible for assisting the Director of Patient Care in defining, planning, developing, implementing and evaluating the philosophy and objectives for the critical care area to insure the optimal delivery in care and services to all patients in an environment that promotes professional development and continues to assure financial viability. The primary goal is the delivery of competent, efficient and cost effective care.

BSN degree
Current NJ RN license required
Minimum two (2) years recent acute care nursing experience
Charge nurse or Leadership experience required, previous management experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Goal/Outcome oriented
Excellent organizational skills
