Senior Healthcare Centers are outpatient departments of North Florida Regional Medical Center with three locations in Gainesville, FL and one in Melrose, FL. The RN Clinic Manager for our Senior Healthcare Center at the Village is responsible for the daily operations, clinical and administrative activities, and supervision of all personnel of the clinic. This Senior Healthcare Center is located within a retirement community with various care settings including assisted living, memory care, and independent living. The manager maintains and develops relationships between the Senior Healthcare Center and other members of the patient s care team. The manager coordinates process and quality improvement, volume and growth initiatives, as well as upholds patient, employee, and physician satisfaction. In addition, the RN Clinic Manager provides direct, safe and effective nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing processes. Nursing services include patient assessment, vital signs, venipuncture, IVs, care coordination and simple procedures. Position also collaborates with other Senior Healthcare Center and hospital department team members.
Clinic Days: Monday- Friday
EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:
3-5 years related healthcare experience required. Experience with geriatric healthcare preferred. 2-3 years management experience strongly preferred.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
Demonstrated success and abilities in communication, leadership, achieving results, managing multiple priorities, employee engagement, customer service and health care management. Ability to work in an office environment, attend meetings, work independently and in interdisciplinary team settings. Proficient in computer use and utilizing software programs.
RN license in the State of Florida required. BLS certification required.
