Helps establish/implement goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems for the assigned administrative and clinical needs.

Participates in the development and implementation of long-range plans and budgets.

In partnership with Clinic Director and/or Senior Administrator selects, trains/orients, and supervises departmental personnel. Responsible for work assignment and daily operations and clinic flow.**

In partnership with Clinic Director and/or Senior Administrator evaluates performance and recommends merit increases, promotions and disciplinary actions.**

Resolves problems in administrative and clinical areas and ensures compliance with regulations and standards.

Helps fiscal management and other administrative staff to develop/implement cost effective policies and procedures for all operational areas including bookkeeping, billing, insurance, fee schedules, credit/collections, purchasing, data processing and space planning.

Monitors and controls clinic expenditure within budget.

Serves as liaison between clinic and external agencies.

In partnership with Clinic Director and/or Senior Administrator, works with medical staff to ensure quality patient care and services are provided.

Works with Senior Administrator to compile/analyze data, prepares and present statistical information on department performance, productivity, activity, budget to administration. Uses total quality management methods to improve performance and processes.

Participates in professional development activities to keep current with health care trends and practices.

Directs and supervises nursing services in accordance with governmental and other regulatory standards.

Oversees nursing care essential to the assessment, promotion, maintenance and restoration of patients' health and wellness.

Oversees patient needs and suggests solutions to patient care problems.

Ensures the development and delivery of nursing education to staff.

Oversight of clinical staff who maintain and utilize (entering, removing, scanning, etc.) electronic medical record data.
