JOB DESCRIPTIONNurse Practitioner Child & Adolescent Observation Services
This position will be at our Behavioral Health Center located on St. Luke's campus in Phoenix, Arizona. You will be responsible for independently coordinating and communicating patient care activities with health care team members and appropriate departments, including Assessing clients ages 3 to 17 years old for Admission and Discharge to/from the Child & Adolescent Observation Services program (a 23-hour observation status service), Transfer of these clients to inpatient hospitalization, Physician Orders and Rounds as required by the AZ Board of Nurses, and On Call responsibilities. This position is for a Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with psychiatric experience.
In house, in person performing rounds 11:30am - 3:30pm Sat & Sun and on-call the same weekend for the remaining hours of the Sat 8am - Mon 8am time frame WORK SCHEDULE IS EVERY OTHER WEEKEND.
Behavioral health experience needed or equivalent certification under article 5, R4-10-501, Advanced Nursing Practice. Compliance with all AZ Board of Nursing requirements.
Need one year behavioral health experience and/or equivalent certification under article 5, R4-10-501, Advanced Nursing Practice. Compliance with all AZ Board of Nursing requirements.Must enjoy working in a fast paced environment!
