The Assistant Department Manager facilitates the efficient delivery of quality patient care by directing and coordinating operations for an assigned nursing unit. Duties include making patient care assignments, rounding with interdisciplinary team, serving as a resource for staff, directing and evaluating staff, and responding to changes in the workflow as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, BSN strongly preferred
Current licensure by State of Maryland to practice professional nursing
3 years relevant clinical experience, with one year of charge nurse experience.
Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi task in a fast paced setting; have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Current BLS certification, and ACLS certification required for some units
Full Time Days (12) Associates Degree Healthcare Provider CPR required MD State Licensure required RN Required 3-5 years experience required
