In order to qualify for this position, candidates must be in good standing at an acredited nursing school with an expected graduation date of May 13, have an active Healthcare Provider CPR certification, and have an active Maryland (or eligible) CNA license. Please be sure to include a cover letter and resume containing your current nursing school, expected date of graduation, current GPA, and a first and second choice of unit you are interested in. There is only one position posted, other units are available.
Under direct supervision of the Registered Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care. Successful completion of Nursing Course Equivalents for Requirements of Nursing Assistant Training, as defined by the Maryland Board of Nursing and junior year medical/surgical clinical rotation/experience. Interpersonal skills required to comfort and care for patients and maintain effective contacts with a variety of hospital personnel and staff. Analytical skill necessary to assist with maintaining patient records and transcribing physician orders. Completion of Healthcare Provider BLS course, every 2 years. As Needed Varies
