Department: Critical Care
The Nursing Support Technician II participates as a member of the healthcare team in the delivery of high quality patient care utilizing the tenets of service excellence. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, the Nurse Support Tech II performs delegated patient care procedures and observes reports and records patient conditions and information. The Nursing support Tech II assists the healthcare team with specific treatments and/or procedures in an acute or intermediate care facility.
EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE: Must possess a High School diploma or GED. Successful completion of a CNA or GNA course and successful completion of a Community College Technician Program or Hospital Based Technician Program. Certified as a CNA on file with the State of Maryland. Current CPR Card required. Regular Part-time Day/Night Rotation High school diploma or equivalent is required Certification Required Customer service skills are required
