Nutrition Service Supervisor - Aging Services

Coordinates daily operation of patient food services inclusive of all tray line, production, cafeteria, and special functions. Coordinates all employees scheduling to budget hours and daily operational needs. Interviews, hires, trains, evaluates and disciplines all personnel in department excluding management and clinical. Orders and receives all foodservice based on contracts. Ensures inventory control within budget. Monitors and reviews all temperature, food quality and safety documentation insuring accuracy. Ensures safety, sanitation, and daily operation is within JCAHO and State guidelines as applicable. QUALIFICATIONS 1. Associates Degree in Business or five (5) years experience in institutional food service setting. 2. Completion of 90-hour course, Food Service Supervisor, within 12 months of hire. 3. Must have good communication and organizational skills to work with production staff to maintain records and place orders. 4. Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills in a Windows environment. 5. Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment. 6. Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
