OPERATIONAL ENERGY POLICY ANALYST

Primary Responsibilities: CTC is seeking a policy analyst to support the Army's operational energy programs. The Army is continually adapting policy and doctrine to achieve energy and sustainability performance goals in compliance with Executive Orders and federal legislation. More importantly, operational energy enables the Army to perform its worldwide missions, increase future capabilities, and enhance current mission effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Army operational concerns and knowledge of energy drivers. The candidate must have proven experience in developing policy and guidance documents. The individual will apply their knowledge of sustainability, operational energy and military operations to the development, dissemination and presentation of strategic communication materials and to the completion of research and analysis for special projects, presentations, information papers, articles, plans, and reports on the many topics associated with operational energy within the Army.

The position also requires coordination of internal and external meetings, conferences, professional engagements and other events. The individual will support maintenance of executive schedules, meeting scheduling and logistics, written correspondence, review of documents for consistency and context in support of the Army's stated goals related to energy and sustainability. The successful candidate must also possess a proven ability to lead and manage the development of technical programs, planning and support documents, as well as management plans and strategies. The ideal candidate will need to be self-motivated and a quick learner with strong technical writing and communications skills and experience. Some travel may be required.

Basic Qualifications:

* B.S. or B.A. degree requirement. M.A. or M.S. preferred.

* 4 years professional experience minimum.

* Experience working with military preferred.

* Experience working DoD energy and/or sustainability programs preferred.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Strong MS Office skills: Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Clearance: U.S. citizenship required. The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Pentagon badge, CAC Card, and DoD Secret Clearance For this position.
