Job Summary: Working as a Operations Controller, you are responsible for directing and coordinating financial planning and budget management functions. You will recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of the overall operation, as well as monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget. Key Responsibilities: Provides financial support and guidance to operations management. Ensure that policies and procedures are correctly implemented and demonstrated by examining and analyzing records, reports, operating practices and documentation. Drive and Manage period close for multiple units to ensure 100' accurate reporting. Track and maintain monthly P/Ls and ledgers for multiple accounts. Ensure monthly profit and loss statements are an accurate reflection of the results of the period. Ensure Balance sheet accounts reflect the correct balance and are reviewed and reconciled monthly. Review Vendor statements for entire region to limit liability. Analyze and Resolve various accounting/reconciliation issues. Responsible for accurately invoicing multiple clients monthly. Maintain Accounts Receivables for multiple accounts. Use all available tools to maintain highest degree of internal control possible. Provide daily support to field operations by training operators to use and understand financial information and back office accounting systems. Responsible for training and development of all accounting and clerical staff within the complex. Create and maintain closing checklists for the complex of operations. Act as a liaison between field operations and Corporate Accounting. Identify best practices within the role and strive to improve processes and efficiencies. Oversee budget and fiscal responsibility various operations. Responsible for maintaining and communicating all procedures for multiple units. Identify and communicate Financial Risks and Opportunities. Manage office operations and procedures such as bookkeeping, preparation of payrolls, personnel, information management, filing systems, requisition of supplies, and other clerical services. Financial reporting: monthly, quarterly and annual reports, including but not limited to monthly and fiscal close. Performs related duties and special projects as assigned
