Our Ambulatory Surgery center is looking for an RN with at least one year of OR experience to join our team in a fast paced surgery center where the surgical team works together to provide the best surgical experience for our patients.

Our ideal candidate will be able to scrub and circulate for a complexity of surgical cases in a fast paced environment. Experience in both inpatient and outpatient surgery is essential for this position.

The operating room (OR) RN has primary responsibility and accountability for the nursing care of patients in the operating room undergoing surgical or other invasive procedures. The OR RN develops, coordinates, and implements a plan of care that is patient and outcome focused. The plan of care is made in collaboration with other members of the Preoperative team and is based on patient assessment, knowledge of the procedure and anesthetic plan, physician orders and preferences, application of relevant policies and procedures, and AORN guidelines. The OR RN provides leadership direction and clinical supervision to the surgical technologists, patient care technicians, and other non-licensed staff on the healthcare team.

Minimum: Graduate of accredited RN program
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Minimum: Current Washington State RN license, CPR
Preferred: Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Minimum: 1 year of recent operating room experience or completion or an approved Preoperative training program
Preferred: Adult and pediatric operating room experience
