A full-time physician is needed to join the Occupational/Employee Health Services Department at Mayo Clinic Health System-Franciscan Healthcare in La Crosse, WI. Board certification/eligibility in Occupational Medicine, Orthopedics or Primary Care specialty is required, and candidates should be certified as a Medical Review Officer or be willing to take the certification exam. Experience in Occupational Health services is preferred, and background and/or experience in outpatient orthopedics and knowledge of the Worker s Compensation system are highly desirable.

The Occupational/Employee Health Department is located in a separate building adjacent to Mayo Clinic Health System-Franciscan Healthcare main medical facility (clinic and hospital) in La Crosse, WI. Mayo Clinic Health System-Franciscan Healthcare is a multi-specialty group/healthcare network, part of Mayo Health System, with more than 200 physicians/associate providers, serving a primary care population base of 240,000. In addition to its La Crosse Campus, Mayo Clinic Health System-Franciscan Healthcare also operates a critical access hospital at Sparta, WI, and nine other clinics in smaller communities, located within a 60-mile radius of La Crosse, in western Wisconsin, southeastern Minnesota and northeastern Iowa. The Occupational Medicine position will include providing outreach services to some of these outlying clinics.
