The new Loews Regency San Francisco Hotel is seeking an On Call Banquet Server/Bartender to join the team. The Loews Regency San Francisco Hotel is a Forbes Five Diamond, Trip Advisor Five Star property and is considered among the top hotels in San Francisco along with Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons and the St. Regis. This property is position on the top 11 floors of a 48-story tower that offer some of the most breathtaking views in the city - many from our 148 elegant guestrooms and seven spacious suites. It is the mission and intent of this position to assist in the overall daily operation, and ensure service standards are met and/or exceeded. The Banquet Server/Bartender will help create an outstanding dining environment and experience for guests. The Banquet Server/Bartender sets banquet rooms for all food and beverage items; ensures that banquet room furniture and equipment are clean and tidy, assists guests when they have questions about the menus/wine list, and anticipates guests needs and addresses them accordingly. Serve wine and create basic mix drinks. The Banquet Server will report directly to the Banquet Supervisor. Support company's philosophy and company culture through the use of Departmental standard on a daily basis to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Brand Promise Provide excellent service at all time to all of our guests. Assist guest courteously and efficiently and create a memorable experience. Set up tables, bar and serving areas according to BEOs. Ensure banquet room and station(s) are clean at all the time. Extensive knowledge of food and beverage, including liquors and cocktails. Make sure that all silver and glasses are wiped and spotless. Mark tables appropriately to food order for each course. Make sure all product served is accounted for on the final bill before presenting. Work with host to ensure that all is as communicated on BEO. Attend to and clear tables between courses throughout the meal. Verify guest satisfaction with the host. Anticipate guest needs, so guests will never have to ask for anything. Attend all food and beverage training classes. Wish each and every guest a warm farewell and thank them for coming At the end of the shift deliver all checks and report to the appropriate place according to standard and make sure financials are correct. Follow the BEOs for opening and closing duties and side work sheet. Attend daily pre meal/communication meeting and monthly department meeting. Contribute to the creation of a positive and productive work environment.
