Our events are all off-premise at venues that range from high-end plated dinners, Hors d'oeuvres parties, Action station events to backyard casual picnics. Do you want to be part of one of the largest events in the Valley? - We are hiring now for the upcoming Waste Management Phoenix Open (Jan 30 - Feb 5) Special Event servers that are hired now will also have the opportunity to work events throughout the Fall / Winter season Position Summary: Work closely with the catering team to deliver food and beverage service at a variety of special events while interacting with guests in a positive, professional and efficient customer service oriented manner. Essential Responsibilities: Manage employee schedule and all pre-shift event details in Ready Set Work Effectively communicate with and report directly to designated event manager, captain and/or lead Effectively communicate with and support back of house (BOH) at all times Set up duties as assigned, including but not limited to; unloading equipment, polish silverware and flatware, table and chair arrangement, place settings, banquet and buffet table set up. Food and beverage distribution according to event requirements (plated meals, buffet, stations, concessions, etc.) ensuring meals are delivered to the correct recipients within dietary guidelines Anticipate the needs of guests and facilitate accommodations as needed Clean up and break down duties as assigned Adhere to safety standards of event site and location Perform "other" job-related duties as necessary to achieve the established goals of M Culinary Concepts and the client Previous food service or hospitality experience required Adhere to M Culinary Concepts serving standards Be able to lift 25-50lbs Excellent oral communication and listening skills Adhere to policies, maintain a professional appearance and be respectful to all in the work place Valid card or certificate issued by county or ANSI-accredited food handler training program documentation Operate with a sense of teamwork and urgency Have a can do attitude Maintain a safe and secure work environment Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (ref. 15021)
