JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Consultant on the ILD Dimension Architect Team will engage new Advantage application ({(} proprietary technology) clients along with the rest of the implementation team and provide leadership on technical and design consulting both internally and with the client. It is a heavily client-facing position, but will also require technical expertise, coordination and team work across multiple internal teams. It is also a relatively high-profile position as the expert who will be making recommendations and key decisions to both internal and client project leads. Additionally, the consultant leads a team of Analysts responsible for the successful implementation of multiple implementation projects.



This leadership role includes several major contributions to the project, with the goal of delivering a usable, efficient, valuable solution at rollout. These roles include: data structure design, item placement, rule and logic development, and client engagement as well as mentoring and training new hires and junior teammates. This role will require discovering and understanding how clients view and segment their data. You will then translate these client needs into technical requirements in order to build a data model that supports the end needs of the client user. You will use a consultative approach to leverage ILD Advantage solution capabilities to meet the needs of the client organization and user base. This role is crucial to ensuring a successful implementation and to demonstrate the power and value of the Advantage applications.

The right candidate must be organized and know how to prioritize schedules and tasks in order to handle multiple clients, projects and deadlines. They should enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, be a self-starter and manager, and be able to both seek and give input when necessary. The consultant must be confident leading a team by setting attainable goals and objectives and ensuring consistent accountability.

Strong listening, observational, consultative and leadership skills are a must. You will be required to effectively and confidently communicate with clients in high-level positions as well as handling escalations to internal upper management. You will need to be able to set and manage expectations both with the client and internally, and coordinate with a cross-functional team in order to execute and deliver on time and above expectations. You will be communicating with an overseas support team and be responsible for the ultimate success of the deliverable. Approximately 15% travel is expected in this role.

Executing successfully in this role directly contributes to engagement, adoption and usage by the application end users, as well as value and ROI for the client stakeholder.

ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managing Analysts through the overall project to ensure delivery on a data structure and definition that satisfies the client s business needs, keeps within contractual scope, and is completed on time.

Act as the team lead for major client implementations.
*

Be accountable for the successful implementation of the client's ILD database deliverable.
*

Partner with internal team({(} s) to implement client requirements.
*

Manage timelines.
*

Be accountable for accuracy of the end deliverable.

*

Manage product definition onboarding for new client implementations on the ILD database platform. Your engagement starts from client signature until successful transition to the production team. Your team will be accountable for multiple clients, depending on the size and complexity of the clients.

*

Complete a feasibility analysis and develop an implementation plan for product-dimension related client requirements.
*

Design an easy-to-use, efficient data model that will meet the client s business and analytic needs.
*

Provide recommendations to the client and act as subject matter expert on the platform and specific client needs/definitions.
*

Acquire resources and acceptance of plan from the cross functional project lead
*

Manage product related implementation and provide status of work performed to the cross functional project lead
*

Represent the Operations organization in cross functional meetings to ensure a successful client deliverable
*

Handle escalations and communicate status with senior leadership.

Act as Project Lead throughout implementation project for the Operations organization, including but not limited to: creating client specific definitions for product related material, managing new item review process, facilitate client visible data issues, address client knowledge gap, and address internal cross-functional team member's knowledge gaps.

Ensure successful transition of new clients to database production team after successful completion of the project

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

*

5 - 10 years relevant work experience
*

Undergraduate degree ({(} required); Advanced degree preferred.
*

A strong background of the CPG industry, specifically from the manufacturer perspective, is preferred. Knowledge of the retailer business side is a plus. An in-depth knowledge of key business issues for retailers, manufacturers
*

Excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills
*

Strong time-management skills and ability to manage multiple clients, projects, and changing timelines.

Proficiency in all MS applications, especially Excel ({(} must know v-lookup, pivot tables, etc), exposure to MS Project

Demonstrated leadership skills must be able to lead a group presentation in-person and via web.

Ability to recruit, train and develop new hires.

Previous experience working with a global team preferred
