One of the fastest growing dining management companies in the US seeks a dynamic, savvy Operations Manager to coordinate and manage the successful operations of a high volume Acute Care Hospital account and contribute to the development and implementation of organizational strategies. This key leadership position will also direct the efforts of all patient care areas related to the nutrition care process, including patient and non-patient care, to achieve the organization's operating and financial goals. The role will also serve as a liaison between the dietetics staff and food service departments, maintaining an effective working relationship to provide a unified approach of excellence in quality and service. This opportunity is based in Baltimore, MD and relocation assistance is available.
Ideal candidate will have lead food management experience to include patient service programs within the Acute Care Hospital industry. Organization is looking for an individual with strong financial acumen, the ability to manage and control resources and materials as well as partner in the support of department/division and institutional projects, staff recruitment, policy implementation, and serves as a primary resource for issues and communications. Must be able to performs duties independently and initiate judgment in handling a variety of management issues. Experience driving high volume retail and catering service is highly preferred. A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
